Hume on Cantor Take Down: 'The Margin Is Amazing'

Fox News Channel senior political analyst Brit Hume called the stunning upset Tuesday night of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) to Tea Party challenger Dave Brat, an economics professor, an “earthquake.”

Hume pointed to the over ten point margin in the GOP Virginia primary calling it “amazing” as he discussed the negative ramifications on immigration reform. Brat who raised about $200,000 for his campaign made the main issue Cantor’s support for any form of immigration reform, calling it support for amnesty.
