Tuesday after a Senate intelligence briefing, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) responded to criticisms being leaked out about U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s platoon mates after having criticized him for being a “deserter.”
The former Vietnam prisoner of war was referring to reports of unnamed White House aides accusing the soldiers who served with Bergdahl of “swift-boating” him by telling their stories in an attempt to discredit the soldiers.
