In her exclusive interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blamed the “fog of war” for the State Department’s declaration that the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was a spontaneous protest of a YouTube video. Clinton doubled-down on her “what difference does it make?” comment, and when Sawyer asked her whether she wanted to amend the statement, she responded “no I don’t.”
When she was asked about the impact of the Benghazi attack on her presidential ambitions, Clinton said that Benghazi is “more of a reason to run because I do not believe that our great country should be playing minor league ball,” and referred to the investigation as a “diversion.”
