Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could not give her signature achievement as head diplomat when asked by ABC’s Diane Sawyer in an interview that aired on Monday night. When asked about criticism that she had failed to achieve any major successes during her tenure at the State Department and her lack of a “signature doctrine,” Clinton responded, “We haven’t had a doctrine since containment worked with the Soviet Union, but we have had presidents that have made some tough calls, some hard choices some of which have worked and some of which have not.”
