Monday during his “Talking Points Memo” Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly detailed a New York Times front page story titled “Bergdahl Was in Unit Known for Troubles” which attempted to smear Bergdahl fellow soldiers who told the media their stories last week. The Times attacked the soldiers for being “raggedy” by wearing bandanas and cut off tee shirts. When Liberal commentator Juan Williams tried to defend the attacks by bringing up Bergdahl’s mental and emotional condition. O’Reilly lost it telling Williams “You are really off it tonight.” adding “Number one, the doctors are saying he is physically okay that’s a fact. if you deny the fact you are not telling the truth. number two, I made it quite clear there is a difference between mental emotional and physical. Don’t throw that at me, Juan, your being disingenuous in the extreme tonight.”
