ABC's Sawyer Presses Hillary on Benghazi

ABC News aired another clip of Diane Sawyer’s exclusive interview with Hillary Clinton on this Monday’s “Good Morning America.” Sawyer asked Clinton if there was “anything you personally should have been doing to make it safer in Benghazi?” Clinton responded that she gave “very direct instructions that the people who have the expertise and experience in security,” because she is “not equipped to sit and look at blueprints to determine where the blast walls need to be or where the reinforcements need to be.”

Sawyer continued to ask Clinton about her role in Benghazi by saying “I wonder if people are looking from a sentence that begins from you, ‘I should have.’ ‘I should have.'” In her discussion of the clip with George Stephanopoulos, Sawyer added that she asked so many questions about Benghazi because so many people think it is “a central question of leadership if she runs for president.”
