Bloomberg News Washington Bureau Chief Jon Allen stated in an interview C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” that if Hillary Clinton runs for president she will face the “difficulty” of “distancing herself from President Obama on things that haven’t been popular that he’s done, while at the same time showing herself as loyal.” Allen added that in trying to resolve this conflict “what ends up happening is a bit of a muddle.” He also said that Clinton’s earlier declaration that “people in government shouldn’t be judged on these hard choices that they’re making” is a “fascinating claim and one that I don’t think goes over well with voters.”
