Wednesday night in Portland OR, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) spoke at a fundraiser to re-elect Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) held at the Portland Hilton Hotel with a $100-per-ticket price tag.
Warren, a populist Democrat star, railed against Republicans “rigging the game” saying, “[Their] vision boils down to one sentence: I got mine, the rest of you are on your own.”
She added they only want the rich to get richer and vowed she and Merkley were going “to fight back.”
Merkley was elected in 2009 and is set to square off against GOP candidate Portland pediatric neurosurgeon Monica Wehby in November.
