Dem Rep Rips Redskins Owner's 'Racism and Bigotry,' As Bad As Sterling

Wednesday on the House floor, Del. Eni Faleomavaega, (D) of American Samoa, slammed the the Redskins owners Dan Snyder for refusing to change the “racial slur” team name. The non-voting house member blasted the NFL for not punishing Snyder like the NBA did Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for making racially offensive remarks saying “Why is the NFL so hesitant?

Faleomavaega added, “Shame on Mr. Snyder for perpetuating this racism and bigotry. He should know better and do better.”
