On Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden made a quick campaign stop at the Common Grounds Coffeehouse in Denver, CO before heading over to the Air Force Academy graduation. Biden sat down before a pool of local reporters to talk about immigration reform with Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO) and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.
While pushing the reform in his classic off the cuff style the vice president blurted out, “The president and I, by the way, would love to be able to take out – I can’t – would love to be able to take out a pen and say bang its all taken care of…”
Biden then admitted it is only public opinion and not the respect of congress roll in creating legislation that is holding the Obama administration back, saying they know they would be “categorized as excessive executive action” adding people would say “we can’t be trusted because we imposed law.”
