Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) called for the Department of Justice to get involved in the Veterans Affairs waiting list scandal because it has risen to a level of “criminal negligence.”
Kinzinger said, “When we were talking about a year or two years backlog, that was incompetence that was bureaucracy, and that was something we had to take a real strong approach on. But when it came to people have created fake waiting list and veterans have died. I think that goes to the level of criminality.”
