Pelosi Announces Appointment of Dems to Benghazi Committee

On Wednesday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced the appointments of Reps. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), Elijah Cummings (D-MD), Adam Smith (D-WA), Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Linda Sanchez (D-CA) to the special committee charged with investigating the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks.

Pelosi discussed her decision on if the Democrats would participate in the panel saying, “I do think it is important for the American people to have a pursuit of these questions done in as fair and open and balanced way as possible. That simply would not be possible leaving it to the Republicans.”
