Danny Glover, actor and supporter of Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chávez who at his death called Chávez “a social-champion of democracy”, slammed actor Jared Leto’s political opinions Monday at a town hall in Baltimore. Glover was upset Leto supported the youth protesters against handpicked-Chávez successor Nicolas Maduro when Leto said on the stage at the 86th Annual Academy Awards.
Glover who said he only worked with Leto once 20 years ago was particularly angry Leto didn’t bother to call him to get the real story before he made the comments.
