Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised the New America Foundation for its work to “keep reinventing America,” in her remarks before the foundation on Friday.
Clinton argued that workers have worked harder for top-income earners earn more while workers are “not seeing the rewards that their hard work should have merited.” She said that income inequality is the reason for instability in places like Pakistan and Greece and she urged “elites” to “pay their fair share” and to promote expansion of government services.
