'We All Are Part of This Relay Race': Obama Doesn't Care If It's Biden Or Clinton Who Wins His Third Term

On Thursday, CBS News White House Correspondent Major Garrett interviewed President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Garrett asked if it was Biden or former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to secure the Democratic Party’s nomination, wouldn’t they essential be bringing about “third Obama term?” 

GARRETT: It sounds like what you’re describing is whoever the candidate would be running would be running for a third term of the Obama presidency.

OBAMA: I don’t want to necessarily jam them up. We all are part of this relay race.
