NBC’s newly minted “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon was welcomed in his debut by a parade of stars including Robert de Niro, Tina Fey, Joe Namath, Rudy Giuliani, Mariah Carey, Tracy Morgan, Joan Rivers, Kim Kardashian, Seth Rogen, Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mike Tyson, Lady Gaga, Stephen Colbert, who each rewarded Fallon with $100 for losing a bet saying that Fallon would never host “The Tonight Show.”
Colbert, whose show “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central will go head-to-head with Fallon, had a very vocal welcome for new competitor.
