For almost four minutes during the short State Department daily press briefing today, multiple reporters attempted to press State Department deputy spokesman Mark Toner into condemning Israel for reported acts that Toner could not even confirm were true. Reporters bounced back and forth trying to get more of an aggressive statement concerning the settlements in the West Bank as well as trying to get comment on an unconfirmed about Israel stamping passports for outsiders entering the West Bank area declaring the it occupied territory. The Deputy Spokesman stood his ground, refusing to give any new statements other than what has already been released.
