North Carolina GOP Leader: Steele Should Go

Politico: North Carolina Republican Party Chariman Tom Fetzer has called for Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele to step down from his post, becoming the first committee member to publicly seek Steele’s resignation.



Fetzer’s request — the latest in a cavalcade of criticism after the revelation that the RNC spent $2,000 on a donor event at a risqué nightclub — came in a letter to Steele highlighting grass-roots discontent with allegations of mismanagement at the RNC.
