Sotomayor Explains the Dangers of 'Nunchucks Sticks'

WSJ: Sen. Orrin Hatch asked the judge about her recent ruling upholding New York’s ban on nunchucks. In that case, Sotomayor and the other member of a Second Circuit panel held that the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms does not apply to states. In reaching that conclusion, Hatch stated that the 2nd Circuit had wrongly relied in part on a dated 19th Century Supreme Court that had been called into question by more recent rulings – a charge that Sotomayor never fully rebutted.
