Six Communist protesters were arrested in Austin, Texas after the scene turned violent against Trump supporters when hundreds gathered near the Capitol.
Members of the communist Red Guards Austin group were arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety officers for reportedly assaulting Trump supporters in the midst of the protest, according to CBS Austin.
Austin law enforcement officials arrested 34-year-old Jarred Roark after he allegedly assaulted a Trump supporter and was subsequently charged with a felony aggravated assault, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.
Another five protesters with the organization were arrested, including 19-year-old Jade Tabitha Shackelford who was charged with felony assault.
Taylor Tomas Chase, 21-years-old; Joseph Wayne George, 36-years-old; Samuel Benjamin Lauber, 21-years-old; Jason Peterson, 24-years-old; were all arrested for interference with public duty and resisting arrest.
Additionally, Joseph Wayne George, 36-years-old, was also arrested for interference with public duty.
