“What do you have to lose?” Smith asked as he quoted Trump’s reference that the Democrat party has taken non-white voters for granted.
Smith stated that Texas does not have competitive elections since anything short of an Asteroid killing all the politicians in the room the panelist would retain their seats.
“Can you tell me why its a good idea for the same party to be returned over and over,” Smith asked adding that if Trump was right. “Is that enough of a softball?”
In response to the question, Hinojosa said that in fact the Democratic party and the Republican party had taken advantage of minorities.
“Yes, Democrats have taken for granted Hispanics. ” Hinojosa responded.

“Every issue is politicized to the point we cannot discuss about it,” he said.
Hinojosa added that a Trump presidency would be disastrous to the nation because of his divisive statements.

“You can’t call me ugly for the entire year and then ask me to the Prom,” Smith said.
