Border Patrol agents from the El Paso Sector captured two more sex offenders and a felonious gang member who had crossed back into the United States after being previously deported. These arrests by Border Patrol agents prove the fallacy of not securing the border after deporting these criminals.

Agents working the Tornillo area in far West Texas came upon a fresh foot trail leading northward from the border. After tracking the border crossers, agents came upon a group of 12 illegal aliens who they believed crossed the border illegally.

The agents took the 12 suspects into custody and transported them to the Clint Border Patrol Station. During the processing of the aliens, agents discovered that Juan Antonio Martinez Dominguez, 46, a Mexican citizen, had a previous conviction for “sexual battery” in Oklahoma. He served two years in jail before being deported just four months ago.

Agents working in the Santa Teresa region in New Mexico also came across a group of illegal aliens who had just crossed the border from Mexico. In this group, agents discovered another convicted violent sex offender. 37-year-old Miguel Angel Perez Mendez, also a Mexican national, also has an extensive criminal history that includes sexual crimes. Border Patrol officials stated his offenses include, “Assault, Cruelty toward Wife, Sex Offense Against Child-Fondling, Obstruction Court Order, Possession of a Weapon, Intimidation, Aggravated Assault-Gun and Amphetamine-Possession.”

In a separate incident, horse mounted agents near Lordsburg, New Mexico, came across footprints in an area known for illegal crossings. After searching for two-hours, agents came across six illegal aliens. The aliens had attempted to hide in the desert brush, officials stated.

Upon further investigation, agents learned one of the aliens was Jorge Toledo Villanueva, 31, a Mexican citizen with a long history of illegal crossings and gang affiliations. The Mexican national had recently served a 48-month prison sentence for possession with intent to distribute cocaine HCL. This conviction took place in Michigan. He was deported in 2015. Villanueva has also been convicted of driving while intoxicated.

These criminal illegal aliens have been processed and will be charged with illegal re-entry.
