Gun rights groups have planned a mass shooting “dramatization” in Texas this Saturday. The intent is to show the danger of gun free zones.
The dramatization, originally planned by The Come and Take It Austin group and their affiliated groups to be held on university property, has created controversy even among gun advocate groups.
Murdoch Pizgatti, founder of Come and Take It America, and DontComply.com, had planned that the site for the mock mass shouting dramatization would be the University of Texas at Austin.
As reported by the Austin American Statesman, Pizgatti had to change the location after university officials warned him that any demonstration on university property would be considered criminal trespass.
Pizgatti calls himself “a voluntarist that participates in activism of all shades.” He says “As the Co-founder of DontComply.com he deals with the corruption of the state and heads up programs to rally against the unjust and unconstitutional laws in the USofA.”
According to one of his organizations’ website, “This will be a serious, theatrical skit consisting of ketchup and cardboard props to capture the reality of the plot.”
The website provides that this will be “A skit of significance detailing a very specific cause, (Personal Protection).” They say this is “a Human Right that seems to have been slowly removed from the people and placed upon a shelf to be voted off or given back according to whomever is deserving of this essential benefit.”
The groups say that want to capture the crucial dangers of gun-free zones and thus “are acting out a play or series of plays in which one or two are armed against a group of unarmed victims, ending in a number of casualties that are a result of a law regulating self-defense or any similar rule that is abided by only the innocent.”
The event is now planned to be held at 2426 San Antonio Street in Austin, Texas, at noon on Saturday, December 12th.
David Amad, Vice President of Open Carry Texas (OCT) told Breitbart Texas, “The stupidity of this ridiculous freak show is off the charts. These moronic bastards are not gun-rights activists. They are a bunch of foolish, stupid, stunt-pulling clowns who only want to see their name in the paper and on the news. The best thing they can do for American gun rights is to move to another country!” Amad added, “My name is David Amad and you can tell all of them what I said.”
