This article was written by Coahuila’s “JM Martinez” and Breitbart Texas’ Ildefonso Ortiz.

PIEDRAS NEGRAS, Coahuila– Authorities continue to investigate a series of bomb threats that resulted in the temporary shutdown of all traffic through the international bridge that connects this border city with Eagle Pass as well as in the evacuation of various schools in the area.

One of the bomb threats was called last week on Thanksgiving Day to the emergency services in this city claiming that an explosive would be going off at the international bridge.  Emergency services on both sides of the both sides of the border shut down traffic and began the process of checking the structure in an effort to locate the explosive device. After both Mexican and American authorities were able to confirm that an explosive device had not been planted a the bridge, they reopened traffic in and out of the country.
