A previously convicted felon from Houston who posted on social media messages stating that he hated America and like ISIS and claims to be a “Black Supremacist” is now facing federal weapons charges for posing in photos with firearms that he as a felon can’t own or posses.
Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives along with the Federal Bureau of Investigations arrested 45-year-old Frederick Remon Robinson, aka Freddie Robinson, Freddie Demon Robinson and Malik H. El-Shabbazz, according to court records obtained by Breitbart Texas (attached below). He appeared before a federal judge in Houston in connection with the unlawful possession of a firearm and was ordered detained without bond, court records revealed.
The court records stated that Robinson was convicted of possession of a controlled substance in August, 1991. In November, 1992, he was convicted for Possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
The case against Robinson, aka Freddie Robinson and Freddie Demon Robinson, who is a previously convicted felon began when he began posting inflammatory content on social stating that “if white people hate ISIS so much, then I like ISIS. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. #chopthemheadsoff Amerikkka is the Black Man’s Foe,” the news release revealed.
Another inflammatory post read “I say, don’t hesitate – start shooting in their cars. empty whole clips. find them at home and fire bomb it. anything., do something,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office release pointed out.
In addition to the messages, Robinson posted photographs and videos of himself handling firearms and even videos showing how to load the weapons. The images were posted on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. The Twitter page no longer appears to be active.
His Facebook page is listed under the name Malik Heru El-Shabbazz, according to the twelve-page criminal complaint attached below. The photos of Robinson with guns do not appear with public viewing of the page. It does; however, contain many hate-filled slogans. Those include: “Black Supremacy — This is Race War — Malik Heru El-Shabbazz”; “Black Nationalism”; “Black Power”; “The Black Man is God”; and, “It has Begun.”
The criminal complaint details many tweets and Facebook posts where Robinson is seen in possession of handguns and rifles. In one Facebook post he is seen wearing a holstered firearm. He wrote, “I’m ready for open carry Texas… This is how I’m walking around everyday!!” Numerous posts showed him with a Heckler & Koch semi-automatic pistol, according to the criminal complaint.
While under surveillance, Robinson was seen on numerous occasions entering and exiting a silver Mercedes. In many of those occasions he was seen with a “dark colored pistol shaped object.” On at least one occasion, Robinson was seen putting a “dark long object that resembled the shape and profile of a rifle” in the Mercedes.
A search of Robinson’s vehicle and premises revealed a Heckler and Koch VP9, 9mm pistol that was found in the Mercedes and a Smith & Wesson M&P 15, .223 rifle that was found in his residence.
On his Facebook page, he claims to work for Mike Clark & Ali Muhammad Productions. Breitbart Texas spoke with Mike Clark who admitted he knew El-Shabbazz in passing and on Facebook but he did not know him and did not work for his company. He also said he was unaware of the criminal charges now faced by Robinson, aka El-Shabbazz.
On April 21st, Robinson was arrested. A public attorney was appointed for him. If convicted, Robinson could face up to 10 years in prison.
