MCALLEN, Texas – Federal agents arrested an illegal alien who had previously been convicted on drug trafficking after they found more than 5,800 rounds of ammunition destined for Mexico in his home.

The arrest came after the agents went to Espinoza’s home and got permission to search the house, as he gave them permission he told them that he had stored ammunition in a room and more in a tool box, the court records revealed.
Overall the agents found 5,860 rounds of 7.62×39 ammunition, which is commonly used for AK-47 type rifles.
