Planned Parenthood has taken the lives of nearly one million unborn human beings in a three-year period, according to the organization’s own fiscal year (FY) reports. The organization performed 333,964 abortions in FY 2011-2012, 327,166 abortions in FY 2012-2013, and 327,653 abortions in 2013-2014 — totaling 988,783 unborn babies who were aborted. The information was first compiled by the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List (SBA-List). The group provides an annual breakdown to summarize and decipher Planned Parenthood’s annual reports.

In addition to providing the number of abortions Planned Parenthood performed in a given year, the SBA-List’s fact sheet for FY 2013-2014 revealed:

Planned Parenthood received more than $528 million in taxpayer funding, or more than $1.4 million per day in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements.

Taxpayer funding accounts for 41% of Planned Parenthood’s overall revenue.

In 2013, abortions made up 94% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy services, while prenatal care and adoption referrals accounted for only 5% (18,684) and 0.5% (1,880), respectively.

For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performed 174 abortions.

While abortions rose slightly, adoption referrals by Planned Parenthood dropped 14% in one year, and prenatal care services dropped 4%.

Planned Parenthood’s cancer prevention services are down 17% over one year, and contraceptive services dropped by 4%.

Planned Parenthood reported more than $127 million in excess revenue, and more than $1.4 billion in net assets.

The issue of race-specificity is not addressed in Planned Parenthood’s yearly reports. However, Breitbart News previously reported that abortion disproportionately affects black and Hispanic communities in the United States. Breitbart’s Ben Shapiro wrote:

According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, some 30% of all abortions in the United States are performed on black women, and another 25% are performed on Hispanic women. Rev. John J. Raphael of Howard University has calculated that approximately 13 million black children have been killed before birth since Roe v. Wade, representing a population decrease in the black community of nearly one quarter. Almost 40% of all black pregnancies currently end in abortion.
