Government Chart Shows Cocaine Shipping Routes

South American drug lords are able to move cocaine into Mexico using airplanes, jets and ships — the drugs are then smuggled into the U.S. by Mexican Cartels. 

According to newly published information by the U.S. Department of Treasury, the Colombian cartel led by German Alberto Perez Ocampo uses three different routes to get narcotics to his two largest customers: the Sinaloa Cartel, which is led by Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, and the Beltran Leyva Cartel, which was led by Hector “El H” Beltran Leyva up until his arrest in October.

Perez Ocampo, who camouflaged himself as an import-export businessman and went by the alias of Gustavo Adolfo Ortiz Espinel, also had ties to the Familia Michoacana drug cartel. According to DEA information obtained by Breitbart Texas, Perez Ocampo is responsible for multi-ton quantities of cocaine that were smuggled into Mexico and eventually the U.S. 

One of the routes used by the Perez Ocampo Cartel is to use jets and other aircrafts to fly cocaine loads from Colombia to Mexico City. Another route is to fly in a similar fashion drugs from Venezuela to the Mexican city of Guadalajara. A third route is to use semi-submersible boats from Ecuador to El Salvador from where the drugs are then moved by land into Mexico.
