Fiance of Thomas Eric Duncan Scores Book Deal

The fiance of Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who brought Ebola to the U.S., has a book deal. 

Louise Troh is writing a memoir that will be published in late April, according to KHOU. The Weinstein Company and The Perseus Book Group will publish the book, which is currently untitled, together. 

Troh reportedly claimed that the book will detail her life with Duncan and describe how her faith was “tested but not broken.” 

Duncan flew to the U.S. from Liberia just days before being diagnosed with Ebola. His diagnosis has raised concerns about flights entering the country from West Africa, which remains heavily afflicted by the deadly virus. Prior to coming to the U.S., Duncan had come in contact with a pregnant woman infected with Ebola. He was in Dallas for several days before he began showing symptoms of the deadly disease. 

Medical records show that denied having any sick contacts when he visited the Emergency Room at Dallas’ Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on September 28.
