HOUSTON, Texas–The Texas Secretary of State’s Office has released early voting numbers for statewide races. As previously reported by Breitbart Texas, these numbers represent only 3.62 percent of the Texas registered voter base.
In the race for Lt. Governor, State Senator Dan Patrick leads Lt. Governor David Dewhurst by 62.97 percent vs. 37.02 percent.
Texas Attorney General candidate, State Senator Ken Paxton leads State Representative 62.37 percent to 37.62 percent.
Texas Agriculture Commission candidate Sid Miller leads his opponent, former State Rep. Tommy Merritt by 56.39 percent to 43.60 percent.
In the race for Texas Railroad Commission, businessman Ryan Sitton leads former State Rep. Wayne Christian by 57.32 percent vs. 42.67 percent.
Congressional races:
HD 4: John Ratcliffe 51.5 percent, Congressman Ralph Hall 48.49 percent.
HD 23: Will Hurd 57.35 percent, former Congressman Quico Canseco 42.46 percent.
HD 36: Brian Babin 69.16 percent, Ben Streusand 30.83 percent.
State Senate and State Rep. races will be updated when numbers are available.
