Aryan Brotherhood of Texas Leader Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy: Murder, Kidnapping, Narcotics

HOUSTON, TEXAS–Acting Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (ABTX) leader Larry Max Bryan pled guilty to a number of federal charges involving racketeering and conspiracies to commit murder, drug trafficking and kidnapping. The development this week follows 36 similar individuals charged recently reported by Breitbart Texas

Though current federal sentencing guidelines allow for Mr. Bryan to face a life sentence, prosecutors are expected to recommend the 52-year-old for a 25 year sentence in October 2014 in accordance with a plea deal.

Breitbart Texas has recently offered extensive coverage into the crackdown of the ABTX noting that despite the group’s widely held reputation for being driven by racial animus, contemporary management seemed primarily focused on “profits from drug trafficking in conjunction with Mexican cartels.”

Further, the Federal Bureau of Investigation publicly offers 150 pages of documents offering compelling evidence of ABTX’s ties with Mexican drug cartels. According to public records, “The purpose of the AB is now power and is not a racial organization as it has been deemed in the past…The AB’s continue to be aligned with members of the Mexican Mafia (EME) and certain motorcycle type inmates.”

According to the Associated Press, “Bryan was among nearly three dozen defendants accused of Aryan Brotherhood affiliation charged in a sweeping indictment unsealed in November 2012 that accused them of crimes ranging from capital murder to drug trafficking.”
