Cuban Dictator Castro urges President to use Executive Action To Bypass Congress On Embargo

As prearranged, President Barack Obama and Communist Dictator Raul Castro  separately addressed their nations at around the same time on Wednesday (noon EST.)

The two leaders had spoken by phone for more than 45 minutes Tuesday, “the first substantive presidential-level discussion between the U.S. and Cuba since 1961.”

In Raul Castro’s speech, he reportedly urged Obama to use “executive action” to bypass Congressionally imposed sanctions on Cuba.

USA Today’s Gregory Korte reported the comments on Twitter:

I wonder who gave Communist Dictator Castro the idea to include that in his speech? (Did I mention that he spoke with his new pal Barack “Pen and Phone” Obama for 45 minutes on the phone, yesterday?)
