A video from RebelPundit has some hard words for Democrats and the established “black leadership” from four Chicago activists:

RebelPundit notes that all four of these gentlemen have “served time in prison in the past, and have since taken to the streets of Chicago to fight against the injustices in their community.”  They have all complained about their inability to get any attention from the mainstream media.  If this video gets big enough, I hope they’re all ready to be torn to shreds by the Democrat machine.

The important thing about the video is not who the speakers are, but what they are saying.  None of it is easily refuted… from the observation that the worst urban areas tend to have the longest periods of unchallenged Democrat political control, to the way similar policies produce similar spirals of failure and poverty in every community where they are tried, to the pointlessness of extolling the joys of a minimum-wage increase to people who can’t get jobs.  “We’re always talking about what Republicans ain’t done for us, or what they will do to hurt us,” says one of the activists.  “My life has been hurt by Democrats.”

As a general observation, there aren’t too many situations in which a calcified, non-competitive political structure lasting for decades won’t lead to epic levels of corruption and futility.  These four aren’t the first commentators to note that if Democrat machines can take black votes for granted, in perpetuity, nothing will ever change.
