Having focused his campaign primarily on women’s issues and under a withering assault from Republicans for being soft on terrorism and national security, “Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colorado) launched a new TV ad Friday that touts his determination to defeat terrorist group ISIS.
Polls have been consistently demonstrating a growing concern in those areas among likely mid-term voters.
The timing of this ad’s release seems to indicate that the campaign is concerned at voters’ perceptions of an ad from the Republican National Senatorial Committee, portraying Udall as ignorant of the danger posed by ISIS.
