Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska) has been attacking his republican opponent, claiming he has weak ties to Alaska given that he resided in the DC area while working for former president George Bush.
Those attacks may be brought into question now that it’s been discovered Begich himself uses his D.C. address for FEC reimbursements and as the mailing address for his Anchorage municipal property records, as well.
Begich listed his Capitol Hill address for reimbursements on a number of publicly available FEC forms over the past year.
This isn’t the only time Begich has opted to use his D.C. address over his one in Anchorage — he also lists his D.C. address as the mailing address on Anchorage municipal property records.
