W.Va. Dem Tennant Dumps on Obama, Ad Depicts White House in the Dark

Democrat Senate candidate Natalie Tennant wants to make it clear to the people back home in West Virginia she doesn’t view the Obama administration as a friend and ally when it comes to the topic of coal – an industry seen as key in W. VA politics.

Via The Hill – “she flips a switch in West Virginia, which subsequently causes the White House to go dark — is meant to show her distance from the president on coal, which makes up a sizable portion of her state’s economy.”

All that’s missing is Donna Summer singing “Dim all the Lights” as Democrats continue to distance themselves from an increasingly unpopular Obama as they struggle in a mid-term election cycle with a Democrat in the White House whose poll numbers are in the basement.
