Last Friday night in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canadian Mounties say they received a call about a man causing a disturbance outside a home. Upon arriving at the home, the Mounties found a “very intoxicated” man and took him into custody. And that’s where this tale of one man vs. authority begins.
According to Sgt. Neil Tremblay, as the 23-year-old suspect was being driven to jail, he “purposefully defecated in his pants to protest his arrest.”
The suspect now faces a charge of mischief and caused “unspecified damage to the cruiser.”
It’s very difficult to gauge the success of the protest.
