A 3-year-old Nebraska toddler was found safe and sound Monday evening after his mother reported him missing from their apartment at around 5:30 p.m.
The toddler managed to wander across the street to a local bowling where patrons discovered him inside a crane claw machine filled with stuffed animals.
It was reported that employees contacted the vendor who opened the machine and let the boy out…choosing not to extract him with the claw itself.
One of the patrons alerted the investigating police officers, and the boy was soon reunited with his mother.
In a fitting end to the story, the vendor reportedly gave the child a stuffed animal…perhaps an acknowledgment of how impossible it is to win one by playing the actual game.
