AUSTRALIA – Firefighters, paramedics, the Tatura SES and Shepparton Search and Rescue Squad were all called to a residence in Mooroopna on Saturday. Their mission was to free a naked man who got stuck in a top-loading washing machine during a game of hide and seek with his girlfriend.
Sgt De Araugo told Shepparton News, “He was very well wedged in there and we were concerned for his health and wellbeing.”
It took Emergency services 20 minutes to free the man and according to the Independent, olive oil was used as a lubricant to free the man from his predicament. Although Sergeant Matthew Peck of the Shepparton Police could not or perhaps would not confirm the reports that olive oil was used.
“It was just a game gone wrong. It would be fair to say the gentleman was very embarrassed.”
Sergeant Peck said the man wanted “absolutely nothing to do” with the media. That being said the story is going viral.
