NASHVILLE, Tennessee – A teenager was arrested New Years Day, accused of attacking her parents after her father refused to give her his cell phone. 18-year-old Savanna Price reportedly lost her cell phone and then demanded her father hand over his. According to an affidavit, when he refused, she pounced on him, punching him in the head. She also allegedly bit her mother when she tried to intervene.
When police arrived on scene, they say the teen resisted arrest by “violently pulling away.” She also reportedly kicked both arresting officers after she was handcuffed. Authorities said the struggle continued in the back of the patrol car when the teen allegedly kicked the back window. When police tried to restrain her legs, they say she began biting and spitting in the face of an officer.
She was charged with two counts of domestic assault, two counts of assault of an officer, and one count of resisting arrest. Her bond was set at $10,000.
