The Democratic Party is willing to spend a pretty penny on a herculean effort of pushing their far left congressional candidate, Gwen Graham, to defeat Republican Congressman Steve Southerland, who currently represents Florida’s 2nd congressional district.
Gwen Graham, who calls herself the moderate voice in the race, and refers Southerland as the extremist, is the daughter of former U.S. Senator Bob Graham. Graham has solely been running on her fathers name recognition, saying that her goal was “to emulate his leadership” and to be a moderate vote in Washington.
“It will be my goal to emulate his [Governor Bob Graham’s] leadership, and to be a voice in Washington that we need to return to, which is one of reason and one of moderation.”– Gwen Graham
The “moderate” Graham has already received the endorsement of the pro-Abortion special interest group Emily’s List, as well as that of Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist, who like Graham, has flip-flopped on his support of the Affordable Healthcare Act.
That is correct, Graham was for Obamacare, before she was against it.
Graham recently said in an interview that he was “dedicated” to let voters know that “they can count on the Graham legacy.”

If Gwen Graham truly is serious about ’emulating’ her father’s leadership, and carrying on the “Graham legacy, is she saying that she will also follow his past voting lead while he was in the U.S. Senate?
If this is the case, it would mean she favors earned amnesty for undocumented workers, and would support and vote against any anti-abortion bills, including partial birth abortion legislation.

In 1999, then U.S. Senator Bob Graham was one of 34 Senators who voted against Senate bill 1692, which banned “the abortion procedure in which the physician partially delivers the fetus before completing the abortion.”
