CHICAGO – A 17-year-old girl from Chicago’s south side is being held in lieu of $90,000 bail after allegedly spraying a CTA bus driver in the face with dog repellent. According to court records, Brianna K. Emery faces a felony aggravated battery to a transit employee charge in connection with an incident that occurred Friday morning. Police responded to a call from the bus driver who said he had been sprayed with mace after a reported dispute with Emery over bus fare.
Emery allegedly fled the bus and was found by police in he 7900 block of South Kingston Avenue. She was subsequently taken to the South Shore Hospital where she was identified by the victim, according to court records.
Court records state that Emery was found in possession of a canister of “Back Off” dog repellent.
