Homeless Man Arrested, Found Sleeping In Hotel’s Presidential Suite

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) –  The presidential suite at the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh features 1,300 square feet of space in the parlor and an additional 300-500 square feet of space per bedroom.  The suite features crystal chandeliers in the entry way, as well as a dining room, grand piano, full kitchenette, wet bar and sitting room. 3 connecting bedrooms, master bedroom has one king size bed, each additional bedroom is 2 double beds.

In short, the suite has everything a homeless man could want…and more. On Tuesday night, one particular homeless man was found enjoying all the comforts of that very suite. It was not made clear who found him or how he got there.

What was clear is that man was removed by two Pittsburgh Police officers and placed in a different kind of suite in the back of a police van.

A hotel guest, who witnessed the incident, said “They started bringing him out, we crossed the street to try to get out of the way and they loaded him up. He kinda looked back at ’em and they got him in the van.”

Police did not comment on any movie rentals the man may have enjoyed during his stay.
