Obama Wasn't the Only One Who Lied (Video)

Vulnerable Senate Democrats from red states are becoming increasingly nervous about their prospects next year because of the lumbering ObamaCare trainwreck.

The Politico reported that Democratic senators running in 2014, Senate leaders and party leaders are telling reporters that the Obama administration needs to do something to “rescue the law from its rocky start before it emerges as a bigger political liability next year.”
Many of these Democrats have been among ObamaCare’s biggest cheerleaders, assuming that their constituents would embrace the law once they experienced its benefits. But so far, Americans experiencing the horrors of being dumped off their plans and sticker shock, have outnumbered those who have experienced the law’s benefits.

If voters continue experiencing problems like a balky website, canceled policies and higher premiums, the fallout could be brutal next November, Democrats acknowledge.

Democrats are clearly anxious to see the issue resolved because their most at-risk senators in 2014 voted for the measure on Christmas Eve 2009. Those Democrats — Mark Begich of Alaska, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana and Kay Hagan of North Carolina — all have defended the law in the face of GOP attacks.

But their frustration with the White House is showing, whether it’s Pryor and Hagan backing an extension of Obamacare’s enrollment period, Landrieu proposing legislation to ensure insurance policyholders won’t lose their existing coverage or Begich voicing his fury with the White House.

Asked whether the White House’s credibility had been shot through this latest episode, one Democratic senator said: “You got to have it, to lose it.”
But Obama’s not the only one with credibility to lose. These same Senators parroted Obama’s repeated claim about being able to keep your existing health care plan.
American Crossroads made three versions of the “Obama Lied” video: One with Sen. Mark Begich (D-AK), another with Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) and still another with Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC)-  featuring each of them making similar false claims.

Here’s the Mary Landrieu version:
