‘Jesus’ Runs New York City Marathon Carrying a Cross

With his bib number attached to his cross, a barefooted man, dressed as Jesus, ran the New York City Marathon. According to Gawker, the man was identified as New York-based photographer Makoto Takeuchi, based on his bib number. 

No word as to his finishing time but he was apparently on a 10:40 min/mile pace through the first 10 miles.

The cross appeared to made of cardboard.
