MADISON (WKOW) – Police say a 31-year-old man was arrested for his fifth DWI offense after he parked his car in the middle of an intersection. According to Dane County Sheriff Lieutenant Brian Mikula, Madison’s own Bruce Southall was taken into custody shortly after 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning after parking in the intersection of Moorland Rd. and Rimrock Rd., and blocking traffic.
Police came to the conclusion that Southall was under the influence of intoxicants. He was charged with a felony DWI 5th offense and felony bail jumping for violating his bail conditions on another DWI case pending in Rock County. He is currently parked in Dane County Jail.
