Hunter’s Bullet Misses Moose, Hits Man on Toilet

OSLO – The moose was in his sights.  A Norwegian hunter took aim. He fired. He missed…the moose. But he hit a man sitting on the toilet in a nearby cabin, according to police. The incident occurred Thursday when the errant bullet flew by the intended target, pierced a wooden wall and struck a man in his seventies, in the stomach. 

Police say the victim was flown via helicopter to the hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries. 

The hunter was taken in for questioning. The moose is still on the loose. And authorities are concerned that the victim will never be regular again.
