The Limbaugh Theorem and The Teflon President

In response to All the President’s yes-men:

It’s the “Limbaugh Theorem” in practice. 

Obama has positioned himself as a Washington “outsider” perpetually fighting mysterious and powerful forces that are opposing him and stopping him from creating jobs for the middle class and giving them proper health care, and he’s constantly appalled at what goes on in Washington (in his administration, at his direction.) This has helped him get away with so much. As John so vividly put it:  “The less he knows, the more easily he can float above Washington like the Bullwinkle balloon at the Macy’s Day Parade, equally hapless and blameless.”

In reality, the Obama administration is run like a criminal cartel and Obama is the drug lord. What he’s selling is government dependence and his aim is to get as many Americans hooked on it as possible.

Whenever he or any of his lieutenants are implicated in wrongdoing – no one in charge knows anything. They do exactly what a criminal defense lawyer would advise his criminal client to do – zip it. “When the police want to speak with you, you should never speak with the police.” (Substitute “House Republicans” with “police” and you have a pretty good description of how administration flacks conduct themselves at House hearings.) “You have a right to remain silent,” defense lawyers say. And boy, do they.

Take the IRS…He didn’t know about the scandal until it hit the news (even though there had been an internal IG investigation.) But he was as angry as anyone at the “outrageous” targeting of the Tea Party and BOOM – fired acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller (who was leaving in a few weeks anyway.) Fast forward a few months and BOOM – “phony scandal.”  Now, the racist, KKK, arsonist,  hostage-taking, America-hating Tea Party Anarchists are back to being public enemy number one as far as the Cartel is concerned. The Tea Party is bad for business. They must be eliminated. 

Sec. of State Hillary Clinton knew nothing about the reductions in security measures in Benghazi prior to the 9/11/2012 terrorist attack that left four Americans dead, even though a State Department cable bearing her signature ordered the withdrawal of security elements at the compound. She has since been awarded the Liberty Medal for her outstanding service, and has a better than good shot at the White House in 2016. We still have no idea what the President was doing during the eight hours in which the attack was taking place. No “tick tock” of the President’s activities that night has ever been released.

Charles Krauthammer thinks that is the story that needs to come out…

” The biggest scandal of all, the biggest question is what was the president doing in those eight hours. He had a routine meeting at five o’clock. He never after during the eight hours when our guys have their lives in danger, he never called the Secretary of Defense, he never calls the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he never called the CIA Director, Who does he call? But five hours in he calls the Secretary of State. And after the phone call she releases a statement essentially about the video and how we denounce any intolerance. It looks as if the only phone call is to construct a cover story at a time when the last two Americans who died were still alive and fighting for their lives. There’s the scandal and that has to be uncovered.”

Of course the Obama Cartel is very good at running out the clock. No one is even asking, anymore.

And then there was Fast and Furious, which this president also knew absolutely nothing about. Even his Attorney General (the guy in charge of the Dept. that ran it – knew nothing about it until it hit the news!) It seems some rogue ATF agents in Phoenix thought it would be a good idea to send thousands of weapons to criminal cartels in Mexico. Thank God for Attorney General Eric Holder! He leaped into action and put a stop to that inappropriateness as soon as he found out about it.

Reagan was the Teflon President because he was able to go over the media’s heads and reach people outside the Washington bubble.

Obama is a Teflon President because no one in the media seems willing or able to go over his head and report on what’s really going on in in his criminal cartel.
