LITHONIA, Ga. – After an argument over a haircut escalated into a fight, police say a barber slashed a customer with a straight razor.
Investigators were called out to a barber shop on Wellborn Road in DeKalb County just after 2 p.m. yesterday. When police arrived, they said they found a man in his 30’s with several stab wounds to the torso. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
The barber, Carl Gilbert was booked into the Dekalb county jail and faces serious charges.
Moral of the story: think twice before requesting a little more off the sides.
