In response to Not Quite, Debbie Wasserman Schultz:
I agree with Jedidiah. I too know “plenty of women who dig their heels in on principle.”
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is just being Debbie, and simply pandering to the ‘Feminazi’ faction of the Democratic Party, and the Soccer Moms of the Republican Party for possible political brownie points.
Here is what Debbie wrote that has Jedidiah and other brass-knuckles conservative women all riled up.
“If we put all the women, Republican and Democrat in the House together, the consensus from all of us is that we would get this done in a few hours.”
“Usually women prefer to hang back–they might take a firm position–but they’re going to leave themselves some room because in a negotiation, a woman doesn’t want to ruin the person on the other side of the aisle or the table. They want to make sure they can find a way to have them feel good about the final outcome and also make sure that they get as much out of the negotiation as they can.”
Look, I get the whole principle ‘thing.’ But I also understand that there are a lot of women that believe that their place is at home, in the kitchen, while being barefoot and pregnant.
I completely disagree that women having to be at home, barefoot and pregnant. There really is no need to be barefoot, considering that those cute fuzzy slippers that women like to wear are available at almost any mall ;)
Wait for it…Wait for it….(Female smack down of El Sharko is imminent)
